A piece for children's chorus, S/SATB chorus, marimba, crotales, tom-toms and piano. The piece was commissioned by Berks Classical Children's Chorus (now BYC - Berks Youth Chorus). It uses a text by Gary Snyder about the coming future and staying together, learning the flowers and going light.

A piece for SSA children's chorus and piano. Commissioned by Berks Classical Children's Chorus to honor their founder and board president Mr. Stephen G. Welz. The beautiful text by e. e. cummings somehow manages to weave together images of silent stone and blossoming flowers.
