A piece commissioned by Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading, PA for the inauguration of their new pipe organ. The piece was premiered on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2013. The text is from The new pipe organ was built by Patrick J. Murphy and Associates organ builders.

About "Bound by Love"This piece was written to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. It was performed by singers from both Protestant and Catholic churches in the Reading area in the fall of 2017 at St. Ignatius, Reading, PA. It is accompanied by pipe organ, djembe and bells (Glockenspiel or Crotales can be used).

A Christmas/Holiday piece for SATB and piano with a text by Leslie Leyland Fields about the astonishing nature of the stable. The poetry makes a connection between our dark hearts and the crumbling stable only to concede that the "God of Heaven and Earth" was born here in this place on purpose.

A slow, thoughtful piece that includes selected texts from Psalm 103 (As high as the sky is above the earth, so is His love for those who have reverence for Him). The piece is essentially an SAB arrangement with the occasional extra bass note. It was premiered with an SATB quartet but can be performed with SAB only or any combination up to a small SATB quartet. The accompaniment is piano.

This piece is also based on Psalm 96 and is for SATB Choir and organ. It was written for Karen Eddinger at St. John's (Hain's) U.C.C. in Wernersville, PA in 2010. This piece stays in a lilting 3/4 time throughout and plays with the rhythms of 3 quarter notes against 2 dotted quarters.
